In Manipur, India, a history of conflict and lack of opportunities has led many young people to drugs. Around one third of injecting drug users in the area are infected with HIV. LEND
Hearing-impaired people in many countries are often ostracised, and in societies affected by sexual abuse and rape, they are particularly vulnerable. To make matters worse, deaf people are given very little access to sex education. LeND was formed in reaction to this problem, in Lagos, Nigeria.
